London RHC round off a fantastic inaugural season!

London RHC played their remaining matches of the season at the final National Division 1 tournament, held in Maidstone over the weekend. London started the day strong, registering an 8-0 victory against Soham before a second clean sheet day was earned against Cottenham who London beat 10-0.

The final match of the day was a thrilling one against the hosts Maidstone who managed to get themselves 2-0 up before London registered a goal of their own to take the score to 2-1 at the break. London fought hard all match against a Maidstone team who must be credited for their strong defensive performance. A tiring London side just couldn’t turn the scoreboard in their favour and eventually Maidstone held on to record a 4-3 win over the league champions.

London RHC would like to reiterate their thanks to all that have contributed to making our first season such a success. The club is extremely proud of what has been achieved and can not thank or congratulate the players, staff, volunteers and sponsors enough for their efforts this season!
